Turtle Bay Arburitum

Turtle Bay Arboretum.

This Arboretum highlights many "Mediterranean Climate" Gardens, featuring many low water usage plants.  The site contains three designated archeological sites, monitored by a local archeologist, as well as by a representative of the local Wintu tribe.  Additionally, the site contains protected elderberry bushes, monitored by a biologist from Northstate Resources.  Donald F. Gallino Inc. avoided archeological and endangered species incidents in the construction of this project, within this extremely envionmentally sensitive area.  One technically difficult aspect of this project involved installation of an 8" waterline which included directional drilling under Sulpher Creek (an active spawning stream).
