This maintenance facility was designed by Trilogy Architecture and constructed by Donald F. Gallino, Inc. It won the American Institute of Architecture’s Design Award, for the year 2000, in Northern California. This structure includes mass concrete foundation and poured-in-place concrete walls, supporting a structural steel roof system. This design included recessing the structure into the site to minimize the appearance impact in the surrounding area. The landscaping criteria was to produce a demonstration project of native grasses and trees.
